Selva Care™ Returns, Refunds & Warranty Policy

At Selva Care™, we are committed to delivering premium-quality personal-care devices. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.


1. Inspection & Returns Period (CPA-Compliant)

In accordance with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA), customers are entitled to inspect their goods upon delivery.

You may request a return within 7 days of delivery only if the item is defective, damaged, or not as described.

Returns are not accepted for change of mind due to the nature of the product (personal-care electronic device).


2. Hygiene & Safety Policy (Important)

For hygiene, safety, and consumer protection reasons:

  • The SelvaCare™ Radiant Skin LED Therapy Mask cannot be returned once it has been opened, used, worn, or charged, unless it is defective.

  • This applies to all personal-care and beauty devices that come into direct contact with the skin.

This policy is permitted under Section 20(2)(c) of the Consumer Protection Act, which excludes returns for hygiene-sensitive goods once opened.


3. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives:

  • Damaged

  • Defective

  • Not functioning as intended

  • Or incorrect

You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery by emailing:

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photos or videos showing the issue

If the claim is approved, we will offer one of the following, at our discretion:

  • A replacement unit

  • A store credit

  • A refund


4. Limited Device Warranty

The SelvaCare™ Radiant Skin LED Therapy Mask includes a 6-month limited warranty covering manufacturing defects only.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse or improper handling

  • Water or liquid damage

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Damage caused by third-party chargers or modifications


5. Return Process

Returns will only be accepted after written approval from Selva Care™.

Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.

If a return is approved:

  • Return instructions will be provided

  • Return shipping costs may apply unless the item is confirmed defective


6. Refunds

Once an approved return is received and inspected:

  • You will be notified of approval or rejection

  • Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method

  • Refunds are issued within 7–10 business days

  • Bank processing times may vary


7. Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges.

If a replacement is approved due to a defect, it will be processed as part of the warranty or returns process.
